Mariner’s Bank Joins with NJBankers Association to Support the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund

Edgewater, NJ – Mariner’s Bank (“Mariner’s”): Mariner’s Bank made its mark in the fight against COVID-19 by joining with the NJBankers Association to contribute over $400,000 to the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund (NJPRF).

Founded by First Lady of New Jersey, Tammy Murphy, the NJPRF’s mission is to stop the spread of COVID-19, support the healthcare community, provide help for the vulnerable and rebuild. To date, the NJPRF has raised more than $38M from 60,000 donors across the state of New Jersey supporting community-based organizations on the frontlines of the pandemic, including food pantries, churches, health clinics, homeless shelters, housing organizations, senior citizen support, direct cash subsidies, and mental health organizations.

“It was our duty to step up during this extremely tough time to support our community and frontline fighters” said Robert Baumann, President and CEO of Mariner’s Bank. “It is with great appreciation that I commend the NJ Bankers Association and First Lady Murphy for their efforts in bringing so many together to join forces by spreading resources and helping at this time” said Baumann.

Mariner’s Bank continues supporting local organizations and forces helping their communities through the pandemic. To uphold their commitment to the community, Mariner’s continues to provide uninterrupted operations at all locations, with accommodations and modifications to enforce safe banking environments and promote distant banking solutions.
