Mariner’s Bank Responds to the COVID-19 Pandemic Providing Assistance and Relief Throughout the Community

Edgewater, NJ – Mariner’s Bank (“Mariner’s”): Mariner’s Bank, a driving force within the Bergen and Hudson County communities, developed and launched a series of programs and initiatives to protect and provide relief to customers, employees, and members of the community amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the impact of COVID-19 shaking the banking industry to its core, Mariner’s responded without hesitation, providing uninterrupted banking services, borrower and depositor accommodations, payment relief solutions, access to federal funding programs, and more.

“Mariner’s Bank was founded with the mission of being a reliable partner our community could trust and count on, and we remain deeply committed to our values, our team and the members of our community,” said Robert Baumann, President, and CEO of Mariner’s Bank. “Although we have made adjustments like encouraging customers to bank digitally or through our drive-ups to minimize contact and protect our teams on the front line, every location remained open, accessible and fully operational, delivering much-needed support and service while upholding our commitment and responsibilities as a reliable community partner.”

Branch Operations

All branches remain open and fully operational through drive-up windows. Where drive-ups aren’t available, restrictions are implemented limiting the number of customers allowed inside at any given time. Appointments for in-branch banking and services are available during regular business hours, with staggered timeslots to minimize exposure. We’ve followed guidelines and recommendations for heightened safety measures, including increased cleaning frequency, sanitizing stations, temperature checks, and installation of plexiglass dividers at all workstations.
