With the impact of COVID-19 shaking the banking industry to its core, Mariner’s responded without hesitation, providing uninterrupted banking services, borrower and depositor accommodations, payment relief solutions, access to federal funding programs, and more.

Branch Operations

All branches remain open and fully operational through drive-up windows. Where drive-ups aren’t available, restrictions are implemented limiting the number of customers allowed inside at any given time. Appointments for in-branch banking and services are available during regular business hours, with staggered timeslots to minimize exposure. We’ve followed guidelines and recommendations for heightened safety measures, including increased cleaning frequency, sanitizing stations, temperature checks, and installation of plexiglass dividers at all workstations.

Mariner’s granted hassle- and stress-free access to federal funding programs like the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) successfully securing funding for over 150 small businesses in Northern New Jersey, amounting to about $11 Million in collective assistance.

Considering the uncertainty associated with the pandemic, Mariner’s devised ways to make accessing cash easy and penalty-free. Early withdrawal penalties on Certificates of Deposit may be waived, and ATM fees incurred may be reimbursed allowing convenient and easy access to cash.
